Our Story
Born & fried in
Sault Ste. Marie
Kasdan Co. started with a pretty simple idea: the Sault deserved a really great donut shop.
Not donuts sitting in a case all day. Not something shipped in frozen or made somewhere else. We wanted the real thing — dough made from scratch, given time to rise, fried fresh, and glazed by hand right here in our shop.
Then, naturally, we got a little carried away — carried away enough that Danial and Kassandra are now Guinness World Records holders for the tallest stack of doughnuts built by a team of two in one minute, set right here in the shop.
We paired those donuts with espresso and drinks we genuinely love, started dreaming up new flavours, and built the kind of café we always wished existed here: creative, welcoming, a little unexpected, and unmistakably local.
Everything we make is done in small batches. Our recipes are our own. And when you walk through the door, there’s a pretty good chance the person making your coffee or glazing your donut will remember you from last time.
Because Kasdan Co. was never supposed to feel like a chain.
It’s our little corner of Sault Ste. Marie — and we’re really glad you found us.
